TomTom ONE v4 Edition Review
The TomTom ONE has been one of the best selling electronics products of all time; and with good reason. Having been sold for a number of years now, this Sat Nav system is excellent, easy to use and a good price.
The fourth version of this product, also know as V4, has only improved on this Sat Nav even further. The best thing that we found with this product was just how easy to use it was. I mean its really easy to use. You simply plug it in and type where you want to go with the easy, finger-friendly touch screen. The sat nav is very fast at finding your location and you’ll be rolling in no time. Having such an easy to use Sat Nav is quite a rare thing in this age of extra features.
Although easy to use, some get frustrated with the lack of features on this Sat Nav. In many respects this is true, it is perhaps not quite as accurate as some other Sat Navs, and it has taken us down some questionable routes in the past. Despite this, in the large majority of cases it functions well and such incidences are relatively rare.
The product comes in two versions, one with Western European mapping and one with just GB mapping. The GB-only version is about 20 percent cheaper so if you don’t plan to leave the UK in the near future then you should go for this option. (see both options at bottom of page)
In general most people are very pleased with this compact and easy Sat Nav. Really a Sat Nav for dummies, you can’t go wrong with this thing. If this is going to be your first ever Sat Nav, or if you only need a basic navigation system, then we really can’t recommend it enough.

This was the first system that our family bought and it is really a very good buy. In general it has worked very well and for the price it is really amazing. I don’t know how I survived with maps before this thing!
